It turned out to be a beautiful day today. It put me in the mood for something bold but elegant, and these earrings are the result. They are sterling silver with a large copper focal piece, and I really like the way they turned out. I hope you do too. The copper ovals are cut from flat copper sheet metal and hammered into the shape you see. The sterling silver mid-sections are cut from round wire, flattened in a rolling mill, and pierced. The earring wires and jump rings are also hand crafted. Not including earring wires, they measure about 1.75" long. Two days and two pieces finished -- 29 more to go for the one-a-day challenge -- stop back tomorrow!
